The Olive Experience unfolds gently, without hurry or rigid structure.
It is part conversation, part walk, part tasting — and above all, a moment of connection.
We begin by sharing a simple welcome offering and taking time to arrive.
Through open conversation, questions, and stories, we explore the history of the olive tree and its role in Mediterranean culture, everyday life, and tradition.
From there, we move into the land itself.
Walking the Olive Grove
Together, we walk through the olive grove and speak about olive cultivation — how the trees are cared for, how the seasons shape the harvest, and what it truly means to work with olives rather than control them.
We look closely at the trees, the soil, and the rhythm of the land.
You’ll be introduced to traditional and contemporary harvesting tools, and we’ll talk through the stages of olive production, from tree to oil.
Visual material and short videos may be shared to help complete the picture and place the experience in context.
Olive Oil Tasting & Sensory Exploration
At the heart of the experience is tasting.
You’ll be guided through the basics of olive oil tasting, learning how to observe aroma, flavor, and texture, and how to recognize freshness, balance, and quality — without technical jargon or pressure.
We taste different olive oils and then return to the table, where fresh, local ingredients are prepared and shared, allowing the oil to be experienced as part of food, not apart from it.
Wine is served, conversation flows, and time opens.
A Gesture to Take With You
Before leaving, each guest receives a small selection of handmade gifts created here, as a continuation of the experience.
These may include:
a small quantity of olive oil and olives produced by the farm
an olive oil & beeswax balm
olive oil–based soap
Simple objects, made slowly, meant to carry the memory of the experience beyond the visit.
